Chris Avery
Director
Chris is a Director of Triangle Capital and has been intimately involved in every transaction the firm has participated in since his joining. Prior to joining Triangle, Chris was an equity analyst at Deutsche Bank from 1999-2005. While at Deutsche Bank, he was a senior member of the US semiconductor research team, directly responsible for the ratings on the small cap coverage base. Chris has a thorough understanding of the technology and economics of the semiconductor industry and has marketed this knowledge and investment advice to institutional asset managers across the US. Prior to covering semiconductors, Chris was a member of the wireless services telecom research team and is well-versed in this industry's technology and participants. Before joining Deutsche Bank, Chris was a senior consultant with Andersen Consulting (currently called Accenture) in its Financial Services practice from 1992-1997.
He has extensive experience evaluating a range of investments as well as corporate strategic decisions. Chris has utilized this background to skillfully advise clients on middle market M&A transactions and financings in a broad range of industries.
Chris has an MBA with a concentration in Finance from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and a BS from Miami University (of Ohio) with a major in Finance. He resides in New York City with his wife Missy and son Jackson. |
