We are a results-centric independent boutique investment bank that provides Wall Street-caliber financial advisory services to the middle-market.  Working collaboratively with our clients, we execute mergers and acquisitions, financing transactions and render fairness opinions with a particular industry emphasis on the Consumer, Retail, Industrial, Business Services and Technology sectors.  The superior expertise, creativity and collaborative style of our professionals and their long track records of success distinguish our client service.

Since our founding over ten years ago, we have focused on middle market transactions of $10 million to $200 million for one purpose: To add value for our clients.  In no other market segment can an investment banking firm add as much for value for its clients and we take great pride and satisfaction in doing so.  We live and breathe current market conditions and trends, valuation metrics, and market transaction terms.  With offices in New York and Chicago, we typically team with businesses based in North America but have also represented companies in Asia, Europe, and Latin America.

Through research and candid dialogue, we seek to understand the perspectives of all key stakeholders.

People are not transactions.  And we take a human approach to negotiations.  We engage all key participants and build paths and structures to ensure closure of the transaction and to maximize value for our clients.  By listening to each party involved, we are prepared should the transaction process require a course correction.  We are adept at aligning everyone’s interests to make a successful transaction happen.


No two transactions are exactly alike.  Anticipating potential issues and dealing with the inevitable unforeseen challenges requires creativity.  Our creativity flows from the knowledge and confidence gained from our many collective years of successful Wall Street and middle-market deal-making and our constant focus on finding the best path to achieve the optimum results for our clients.


We are driven.  In our business model, our senior bankers don’t delegate transactions to maximize deal flow; we work closely with our clients until the transaction is completed.

Our investments of time and reputation in every deal are substantial and our compensation is primarily contingent upon success.  For these reasons, we take on a limited number of assignments, and are relentless in our pursuit of the successful completion of every one.
